Description

Brazilian diplomat and first Director-General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) 1997-2002 Was born in Porto Velho, Brazil on 5 June 1945. He is the son of Mauricio José Bustani, medical doctor, and Guajá de Figueiredo. On 1 June 1971 he married Janine-Monique Lazaro, diplomat. They have one daughter and two sons.
