Description

Sudanese diplomat and third Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) 1997-2008 and third Secretary-General of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV) 1997-2008 Was born 26 August 1954 in Sudan. He is the son of Eltayeb Idris and Amouna Haj Hussein. He married Azza Mohyeldin Ahmed. They have five children.
