Description

British politician and tenth Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) 1999-2003 Was born 12 April 1946 in Port Ellen, Isle of Islay, Scotland. He is the son of George Philip Robertson, policeman, and Marion MacNeill, teacher. On 1 June 1970 he married Sandra Wallace, with whom he has one daughter and two sons.
