This dataset contains a long-term biogeochemical time series collected by the OBSEA moored buoy. Deployed 4 km offshore from Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain (NW Mediterranean), OBSEA is a multiparametric platform that has been continuously acquiring multidisciplinary marine data since 2009. To ensure scientific reliability, this dataset has undergone automated Quality Control (QC) processing in accordance with the QARTOD guidelines.

The dataset aggregates observations from multiple biogeochemical sensors deployed at the OBSEA moored buoy. The measurements are provided at their native sampling interval. To maintain high data integrity, only raw data points that successfully pass the QARTOD quality control tests are included in the dataset.
